If a cozy mystery easy read is your genre, this book fits that criteria nicely. Yet it isn't too cliched or so predictable as to be boring. 

Overall, yes this is exactly what you'd expect from this genre. But the characters are engaging, the dialogue believable and the mystery just balanced enough to keep you interested (even if you do figure it out, you still have to wait for that confirmation because there are possibilities for it to be something you don't expect). 

Overall, a story that is solid and works well. It isn't something that is stand out remarkable, hence I am giving it 4/5 stars, but that absolutely doesn't mean this isn't a book I wouldn't recommend. 

This might seem a short review, but it isn't a book that you can wax lyrical about in the same way you might for others. But again, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
